Editorial and sources

How our guides and news are produced – and where their limits are.

Sources

We prefer primary sources. For official and security notices we use official bodies wherever possible, such as the BSI, ENISA or consumer advice centres.

We check insurance information against current product documents, terms and provider information.

We explicitly label provider-funded studies.

Dates

For news, we distinguish the date of the source event from our own publication date.

All content carries a review date. When we update content, we mark outdated technical advice.

German and English

German and English versions are meant to reflect the same facts.

What you will not find here

No invented tests, ratings or experts.

No unverified “best buy” claims.

Limits of our content

Our content is for general orientation. It does not replace insurance advice, legal advice, data protection advice or an individual technical security assessment.

Report errors or outdated information

If you notice an error or outdated advice, please email us at service@easyvibe-consulting.de.

How we select and fund

Transparency about which providers we present, why – and how Cyberschutz.io is to be funded in future.

Which insurance products we present

At launch we present selected stand-alone cyber insurance products: SaferYou (ARAG) for individuals and Hiscox CyberClear for businesses. Both are planned as future affiliate partners.

What we explicitly do not claim

We do not publish a whole-market ranking or award “best buy” titles.

The providers presented are not the only providers on the market.

No insurance intermediation takes place on Cyberschutz.io.

How funding is meant to work

Once affiliate links are activated, Cyberschutz.io may receive a payment when a referral or a policy taken out with the provider is successful.

No affiliate links are active yet. Such links will be visibly labelled as advertising.

Editorial content and funding stay separate

Guides, checklists and news are written independently of any potential payments. We explicitly label provider information and provider-funded studies.

Technical protection products

Other technical protection products such as password managers or backup solutions are currently described editorially only. They are not monetised through affiliate links.
